Welcome to Delorean Tattoo Studio. By accessing our website, visiting our studio, or requesting our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use our services.

3.1 Tattoos

We offer professional tattoo services in various styles:

• Traditional and neo-traditional
• Geometric and ornamental
• Freehand color and blackboard
• Cover-ups (covering existing tattoos)
• Touch-ups and restorations

3.2 Additional Services

• Consultations and personalized advice
• Custom tattoo design
• Photo sessions of finished work
• Certified aftercare products

4. Service Requirements

4.1 Minimum Age

4.2 Identification

ALL clients must present valid official photo identification:

• Citizenship card (Colombians)
• Passport (foreigners)
• Foreign citizen ID card
• Identity card (minors with authorization)

4.3 Health Conditions

For your safety, we CANNOT provide services if you have or present:

• Blood-transmitted diseases: HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B or C (inform the artist)
• Clotting disorders: Hemophilia, anticoagulant use
• Uncontrolled diabetes: High blood glucose levels
• Active skin conditions: Eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis in the area
• Active infections: Fever, flu, skin infections
• Pregnancy or lactation: Not recommended due to infection risk
• Known allergies: To inks, metals, latex, topical anesthetics
• Under influence: Alcohol or drugs (procedure will be denied)
• Medications: Isotretinoin (Roaccutan), corticosteroids, immunosuppressants

Important: You must inform ALL your medical conditions and medications to the artist. Hiding information can result in serious complications.

5. Booking and Appointments Process

5.1 Initial Consultation

Before any procedure, we offer a free consultation where:

• We discuss your idea and expectations
• We evaluate the design viability
• We explain the process and care
• We provide accurate quotation
• We answer all your questions

5.2 Deposit and Booking

5.3 Cancellations and Rescheduling

• With 48+ hours notice: Free rescheduling (once)
• With 24-48 hours: Possible 25% rescheduling fee
• Less than 24 hours: Loss of deposit, new booking required
• No show: Total loss of deposit
• Medical emergencies: Will be evaluated case by case with documentation

5.4 Late Arrival

Out of respect for other clients, we have a strict punctuality policy:

• Up to 15 minutes: Session reduced proportionally
• More than 15 minutes: Appointment may be canceled, deposit forfeited
• Recommendation: Arrive 10 minutes early to complete forms

6. Pricing and Payments

6.1 Pricing Structure

• Small tattoos: Fixed price from $200,000 COP
• Medium/large tattoos: By hour or project according to artist
• Hourly rate: Varies by artist and style ($150,000 - $300,000 COP/hour)
• Cover-ups: Require evaluation, price depending on complexity

7. Informed Consent and Risks

7.1 Consent Document

Before any procedure, you MUST sign an informed consent form that includes:

• Declaration of age and legal capacity
• Complete medical history
• Understanding that a tattoo is PERMANENT
• Knowledge of risks and complications
• Responsibility to follow care instructions
• Authorization of photographs of the work (optional)
• Legal liability release

7.2 Tattoo Risks

Although rare with proper care, tattoos may present:

8.1 Client Obligations

The client IS RESPONSIBLE for following the provided care instructions:

• Keep the area clean and dry as directed
• Apply recommended products at indicated frequency
• DO NOT submerge in water (pools, sea, jacuzzis) for specified time
• DO NOT expose to direct sun without protection
• DO NOT scratch, peel, or manipulate the healing area
• DO NOT apply non-approved products (alcohol, peroxide, non-recommended creams)
• Contact studio IMMEDIATELY at signs of infection

8.2 Written Instructions

We provide detailed written care instructions that include:

• Expected healing timeline
• Recommended and prohibited products
• Cleaning and application frequency
• Infection warning signs
• Contact for questions or emergencies

8.3 Touch-ups and Limited Warranty

9. Intellectual Property and Image Rights

9.1 Custom Designs

• Designs created by our artists are intellectual property of the studio
• Client acquires exclusive use right on their body
• Reproduction, sale, or distribution of design is prohibited
• Studio may use design in portfolio with your consent

9.2 Photographs and Marketing

With your written authorization, we can:

• Photograph the finished work
• Post on social media (Instagram, Facebook)
• Use in artist's portfolio
• Include in studio promotional material

You can: Request anonymity, ask for photo removal at any time, or refuse to be photographed without affecting service.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our responsibility is limited to the value paid for the specific service. We do not assume responsibility for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

11. Hygiene and Biosafety

• Single-use disposable needles and equipment
• Autoclave sterilization of reusable instruments
• Use of disposable gloves during procedures
• FDA-approved and certified brand inks
• Work area disinfected before/after each client
• Safe disposal of biological waste

12. Conduct and Studio Rights

12.1 Right of Admission

We reserve the right to deny service without deposit refund if:

• Client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Presents aggressive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior
• Provides false information on medical forms
• Does not meet age or identification requirements
• Presents health conditions that compromise safety
• Requests offensive, racist, or hate designs
• Demands locations that violate our policies

12.2 Companions

• Maximum 1 companion per client due to space reasons
• Children under 12 not allowed in work area
• Companions must remain seated in designated area
• Coaching or interference not allowed during procedure

13. Personal Data Protection

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on our website. Substantial changes will be notified by:

• Email to clients with scheduled appointments
• Publication on social media

Continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

15. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be resolved in the first instance through conciliation.

In case of failure to reach an agreement, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, waiving any other jurisdiction that may correspond to them.
